Chapter 1: Intro
Welcome to Dr. Mike’s Weight Loss System! This program was designed and created utilizing the medical literature of the body’s physiology as well as the most up-to-date research on weight loss.
The program is not intended to trick the body into losing weight but rather to reprogram your body back to its proper metabolism. Every day is catered to you specifically and intended for you to achieve your weight and health goals. After completing the program, I expect that you maintain that weight loss because your body has changed permanently.
Most programs have the body starved from essential nutrients. This creates “alarm” through the weight loss process causing the weight to come back after the diet or fad is complete. My program is different! I aim to achieve your weight loss goals in a quick, healthy, and affordable manner. There isn’t a comparable program to this on the market.
The changes you make over the next number of weeks will make you live a longer, happier, healthier life. I’m so very excited for you to make this change and I am with you through this entire process. While your goal may just be the weight loss, I can successfully have you achieve your goals all while making you the healthiest you have ever been.
Goal: Lose Weight Duration: 30 days
Protocol Overview
1. LOSE WEIGHT:
This is almost everyone’s primary goal when taking this protocol. We want to lose weight, however we want that lost weight to be from a decrease in body fat while maintaining lean muscle.
2. CHANGING YOUR METABOLISM:
After the 30 days, your metabolism will be drastically different. Our goal is to have your new metabolism maintain so that the likelihood of you gaining back the weight is minimized.
3. DETOXIFY AND DE-STRESS:
The process of detoxification is a key player in weight loss especially amongst those that have had trouble losing weight in the past. Fat tissue stores toxins within your body and if that toxicity is not addressed, the body will NOT allow those cells to decrease even if calories are in a deficit. It will more likely break down muscle tissue to make up for the deficit. Our supplements are meant to work with the dietary guidelines to allow your body to rid itself of toxicity.

During the thirty day protocol, our goal is to customize the best eating plan for you, in terms of quantity and timing. We will use our specific supplements to allow the body to maximize fat loss, while maintaining lean muscle. Most of our diets are low in calories, so you will be taking in less calories than your body is used to. (However this is necessary since maintaining your current caloric intake will maintain your current weight!) Our goal is to detoxify the system, and set it back to its healthy standard by utilizing supplements that will allow the body to burn fat that is stored. You will feel great during the weight loss process and the additional calories your body needs will be taken from your stored fat. The human body needs far less calories than the modern day person thinks we need. We have set a standard of obesity and that’s about to change!

For those of you wanting to take measurements, in the daily guide at the end of this e-booklet, there is a section for that. Measurements can be a great way to gauge progress. Making accurate daily measurements can be difficult so try to maintain consistency of where you measure from day to day.
DIGITAL FOOD SCALE
One key to success is following the protocol exactly as prescribed. “Eyeballing” food amounts will simply not cut it. We have included a small scale to weigh your food. Our scale is small enough to travel to work, school, restaurant, etc., to make sure there is no need to guess during the protocol.

Weighing yourself daily through the protocol can give us valuable information on how your body is responding. This allows us to push you through plateaus if the weight doesn’t change over given time frames within the protocol.

must be from our safe food list.
One of the keys to success in our program is preparation. Prior to starting your first day, you should make sure you have purchased the food items that you intend to eat on the program. This way you are never stuck without having the right foods for success. Please eliminate all junk food from your home if it will be hard to look at. Kids junk food can serve as a habitual snack. For one month try to focus on healthy alternatives for them as well.
